

Biography
Gaia Predassi was born in Milan in 1973.
After attending Liceo Artistico Caravaggio Art School in Milan and obtaining her Art Diploma in 1991, Gaia moved to London where she began working as an Artist and Designer. Her array of work included large polychrome statues, paintings, murals, theatre props, sculptural jewellery and several commissions for high profiled clients in the music and fashion industries.
Portrayed subjects included singer Marc Almond and photographers Pierre et Gilles.
At the beginning of the 2000's, Gaia embraced the world of Animation starting with a 3D Modeller role at Aardman Animations in Bristol. Later in 2006 she covered the position of Art & Technical Director at BBC Television Centre during the development of a pair of award winning Jackanory Specials: ‘Muddle Earth’ and ‘The Magician of Samarkand’.
In 2010 Gaia earned herself the Best Animation Award for her short film 'Attack Of The Aliens!' at the New York City International Film Festival held in Time Square.
In more recent years Gaia has shifted her focus and passion onto film work and she's is currently taking on projects as a Production Designer and Artist working from her base in Rye, East Sussex.
